Celebrity style crush- Mrianda Kerr

          Miranda Kerr is one of the most beautiful woman in the world. She also happens to be a supermodel, and with that comes responsibilities. Among the millions of responsibilities she has since she is in the public eye, is the responsibility to be fashionable. A super model must be in the know of all the latest styles. Miranda exhibits this perfectly while also throwing in a classy twist. She always looks put together; she might as well be having tea with the Queen. When you know what looks good, you’ll have the confidence to experiment with different looks. Miranda shows this with her use of patterns.

Here are some of Miranda's classic street style clothes. These are some everyday clothes that every woman can capture inspiration from.

 

Even while grocery shopping she looks ready for the runway, but that's the way it should be.

 Miranda once again demonstrates her super classy style. Her dress does not show off her boobs, butt, or who-ha; and yet every man on the face of the earth wants to be with her. Take notes ladies.

Miranda wears a pink dress with blue patterned shoes. The patterned shoes work, because the dress is a solid color. However, mixing patterns is really in at the moment, so she could have done a patterned dressed too!

Oscars 2013 Best Dressed

The Oscars bought some wildly talked about dresses. There is no doubt there were some beautiful dresses. Here is a list of the dresses that out shinned the Oscars.

 

 

Amanda Seyfried looked amazing in an Alexander McQueen gown. Did it age her? Yes; however, she still rocked it.

 

 

Jennifer Lawrence wore a Christian Dior Haute Couture dress, and took the crown for bested dressed. Ask anyone 'who was bested dressed at the Oscars?', and they would say Jennifer Lawrence. 

 

Alicia Vikander wore an amazing beaded Elie Saab dress. Boy, did she look amazing! The light blue beaded did not get the amount of attention it deserved.

Charlize Theron wore a stunning Christian Dior Haute Couture dress. The stunning white gown was wildly buzzed about. She looked incredible.

A very pregnant Jenna Dewan-Tatum wore an amazing black lace Rachel Roy gown. Brava to her for showing off her baby bump, and actually having it work for her.

An Oscars' first timer Kerry Washington looked incredible in a Miu Miu dress. The reddish/pinkish color looked amazing on her, and the detailed top was stunning.

Jennifer Gardner wore a custom purple Gucci. The color was divine, and the back added a fun vibe.

                                              

Amy Adams wore a princess styled Oscar de la Renta. She wins the award for best tulle.

Yet another amazing Elie Saab gown. Sandra Bullock looked incredible in this beaded black gown.

Jessica Chastain looked marvelous in Giorgio Armani. It gave off the vibe of Old Hollywood glam. The gown was also beaded, and reflected the light beautifully.

Naomi Watts went with an amazing shoulder detail in a custom Giorgio Armani gown.

Oscars 2013- Worst Dressed

Wow! This year's Oscars were a hit. However, some of the clothes were not. I will be publishing two post, one about the worst dresses and one about the best dressed. However, for now, I will be going over the worst dressed. There were many awful dresses, these are just the ones that stood out. One thing seems to be true for all of these ladies: they need a tailor!

 First off is Anne Hathaway. I just have one question, "Do you own a bra?" We should now refer to her as Anne Nippleway. Aside from that, the dress was way too young for her. The top of the dress is also cut in a very odd way.

 

Jacki Weaver looks like the evil Ursula herself. The shape is all wrong for her, and the top looks as though she went bare skin.

 

Now with Brandi Glanville's dress, I'm not sure if the top was made for someone else, because it does not fit her. Not to mention the bottom, is that tin-foil? One would assume so. I still cannot get over that ill fitted top, that is practically exposing her boobs.

 

Now I'm not sure what is worse about Heidi Klum's dress: the front or the back. The front shows way too much boob; and the back, well I'm not sure what to say about the back.

 

Helen Hunt did not look as though she was dressed for the Oscars. The dress is all wrinkly, which is a MAJOR fashion no no. She also should of asked for a tailors help, because the bottom needs some professional help.

Fan Bingbing- yet another ill fitted dress. The hemline is too short, and the top is just awkward.

                                               
I think Helena Bonham Cater's fabric on her dress had a brutal fight, and looks as though the ugly won. Not to mention, I think a bird or something of that sort was trapped in her hair and trying to find its way out.
                                                 
Jane Fonda resembles what looks like a lemon. This color is all to wrong for winter, her, or anyone. Oh, and not to mention that awkward sowing line down the middle.
                                                   
Melissa McCarthy- Where do I start? The dress is not flattering at all, the fabric looks cheap, and what is this that random black spot. The hair looks like a flashback to the 80s, but not in a good way.
                                                  
 Halle Berry- now I'm not sure if she was trying to spice up a prison cell uniform, but it did not work.

 

 Kelly Rowland - and it looks like we have another dress that the fabrics had a fight. The dress went in all shorts of directions, and it did not agree with her.

Nancy O'Dell's dress is rather strange with the top layer fabric coming together at the beginning of the slit.

And the Oscar for the worst dressed goes to Kristen Stewart. The expression on her face shows exactly how I feel about this dress. I cannot find something right with this dress. The fit is all wrong, and what is with that tulle?

Fall Fashion Week 2013

                 Ladies and gentlemen, I have seen the future of fashion and it is not pretty. This years lines were one of two things: frumpy, not fitted, and looked as though it was men's fashion being worn by women; or fitted and feminine, but boring. Now I'm not saying it was all bad, because there was at least one thing in each line that I loved.
                 The frumpy looked will never be in, no matter what. The clothes were just a few sizes too big. Women need to show off their body, show that they are women. There is no shame in having a body. On the other hand, it is fashion so spice it up! Fashion should not being boring and plan, it needs patterns and diversity.
                  Other thing that always gets me about the runway, is who would actually wear this? Most of the clothes are not wearable. Now I understand if you take the pieces separately, it could work. However, even then some clothes make me question where fashion is going.
                  Now enough with what was wrong with fashion week, and one to what went right!

ANNA SUI- Best of the best when is comes to fashion week. It had great patterns, made for women, and went back to the 60s!

Next on the list is Ralph Lauren, who is one of the greatest fashion designers ever. His line was one of the best, as always.

And now for other pieces that stood out; however, the lines were not the best.
